7th Invitational Worldwide Tang Soo Do Family Championships 2025

On behalf of the Worldwide Tang Soo Do Family (WWTF), the European Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation (EMTF), the Mi Guk Kwan Federation, and Scotland Tang Soo Do (STSD) we are delighted to have the honour of inviting you and your members to join us for the 7th Invitational WWTF Tang Soo Do World Championships, being held for the first time in the historic and bonnie Scotland!

The Championships will be hosted by the WWTF under the guidance of KJN Charles Ferraro, KJN Robert Salm and KJN Ashok Kumar, with the STSD Championships Committee; SBN Kelly Murphy, SBN Michelle Raisborough and SBN Dominique Stephen. It will be held at:
Inverness Leisure Sports Halls, Bught Lane, Inverness, Scotland, UK, IV3 5SS
on Friday 8th August 2025, Saturday 9th August 2025 and Sunday 10th August 2025

Please find attached our invitation pack with the initial release information. In due course we will negotiate preferred rates with the local hotels, however most are unable to discuss this until August 2024, 12 months prior to the event. As soon as further information is available we will update you.

British Championships Newcastle

Am Samstag, den 23. März 2024 fanden in Newcastle die British Championships statt. Auch das Kodang Gym war mit einer Abordnung von 8 Teilnehmern vertreten und konnten 17 Medaillen mit nach Deutschland zurückbringen.

Weihnachtsturnier 2023

Auch in diesem Jahr organisierte das Kodang Gym Team am 09.12.2023 eine Vereinsmeisterschaft in Zusammenarbeit mit dem TMB e.V., in der traditionellen koreanischen Kampfkunst Tang Soo Do.

Das Turnier bildete einen schönen Abschluss für das aktuelle Jahr 2023.

Die Wettkampfteilnehmer sind in den Kategorien Sparring, Hyung und Waffenhyung gegeneinander angetreten.

Open German Championchip 2023

22.10.2023 Rundturnhalle Hohenlimburg GER

Am 22. Oktober fand in der Rundturnhalle Hohenlimburg das Tang Soo Do – Deutschlandpokalturnier 2023 statt. Der gastgebende Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan Bund e.V., begrüßte sämtliche Vereine, auch aus dem europäischen Tang Soo Do Verband.


In 43 Kategorien traten Sportler u. a. aus den Niederlanden, Großbritanien und Schottland in den Disziplinen Sparring, Hyung (Formenlauf), Chilsung und Waffen-Hyung im fairen Wettkampf gegeneinander an.

Eine gelungene Veranstaltung, in der das Motto : „… öffne deine Tür für Interessierte und interessante Menschen. Jeder ist willkommen …“ (by S.U.) im Vordergrund stand. Natürlich waren wieder eine faire und familiäre Atmosphere in der Halle zu spüren.

Ein besonderer Dank wurde den zahlreichen Helfern am Ende der Veranstaltung ausgesprochen.

Als Highlight des Turniers wurde am Ende des Turniertages der Technikerpokal an die zwei besten Turnierteilnehmer überreicht. Dieses Jahr ging unter den Jugendlichen die große Trophäe an Joel Peter aus den Niederlanden und unter den Erwachsenen an Cris Cheung ebenfalls aus den Niederlanden.
